It may seem counterintuitive to buy a bunch of little things to fill the stockings of someone who’s trying to be more eco-friendly, but I was raised in a stocking stuffer kind of family.
It’s a tough habit to break.
Plus, sometimes those little gifts can just be plain, old fun!
Here’s my list of 20 eco-friendly stocking stuffers to put on your list today!
Velcro snack bags
I have this Save the Bees set and they are really well made. We use them everyday!
Mesh produce bags
An absolute necessity at farmer’s markets and grocery stores. Grab a set with the tare weight on the bag for ease at checkout.
Loose tea
Handmade soap

Shampoo bar
Flower or vegetable seeds
Bamboo cutlery

Reusable straws
Bamboo toothbrush
Both the boxes and handles on these are biodegradable!
Seed pencils
I found these for my list of no-waste planner supplies and I think they’re amazing!
Cruelty free cosmetics or nail polish
Rx bars, Lara bars, or Kind bars
Jars of herb and spice blends
I like Penzey’s for these. They sell little jars and you can find some really interesting flavors!
Organic snacks or fruit
Essential oils

If stocking stuffers aren’t what you’re looking for, so many of these ideas will work for a larger gift, too.
Maybe grab a basket from your local thrift store and make themed gift by combining a few small presents together.
You could make it a green lunch kit with the bamboo utensils and a couple velcro snack bags.
Or gather a few self-care tools, like a shampoo bar, lip scrub, and some soothing soaps.
However you gift them, eco-friendly stocking stuffers can be a thoughtful holiday gift for your earth-loving friends or relatives.

Thank you, Nicole!
So many great ideas. Love the dryer balls.
Thanks, Susie! Dryer balls keep me from getting zapped with the clean laundry all the time 🙂
I love the homemade soaps!
I do too! They always have the best scents and they’re so much more soothing for my skin.
Yess! So great! My office is requesting an eco friendly secret Santa so this has come at a great time!
What a great idea for a theme!
There are so many great ideas on this list! Those seed pencils are so cool!
Aren’t those cool? I’ve planted the seed paper and that works great. I’d love to try those too.
