This year I changed my holiday decorations for the first time in about 15 years.
For a very long while, I had a bit of a snowman theme going on. Now I’m a bit over those little guys. They’re cute, they’re fun, but it was time for a change.
So, I spent some time this fall thinking about how I wanted to switch it up. I was influenced by all the natural elements I had brought into our autumn decorations and I decided that I’m really feeling snow-covered pine and evergreen this year. That meant adding a lot more greens and also some white. And I wanted to focus on reducing and reusing things I already had, like worn baskets and galvanized tin containers.
I’m pretty happy with the more organic, semi-modern farmhouse effect that I made this year. It’s peaceful and relaxing and completely fits the vibe I wanted to create in our home during this crazy time of year.
But I still wanted to add a bit more.

The quickest and easiest way to add last-minute holiday decor is by using printables.
There are tons and tons of free printables available on the internet, but I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. A quick Google search brought up over 91 million results! Yikes, that’s a bit overwhelming. So, instead of just making do or searching forever, I quickly worked up a few designs of my own with some text and evergreen trees.
I’ll be sharing them with you for free at the end of this page.
Once you download your holiday printables, quickly place inside a frame for easy no-effort holiday decor or even super inexpensive gifts.

Another option for printables is mount them to wood and turn them into a more permanant sign.
That was the goal for one of my printables, although I had to change it a bit since it wasn’t the size I was looking for. I had the perfect place for the sign with the three evergreen trees, but it a little large as is.
After printing it at 50%, it was just right size for the wood I had on hand.

With a little Mod-Podge and antique wax, this evergreen printable was turned into a homey wooden sign.
It didn’t take long at all and it fits right in to the empty space in my foyer.
