You never know how it will go when you bring little kids on your errands. Come along on our mother and daughter thrift with us haul!

Every parent knows that children can add some extra trickiness on day to day errands.
But on a recent thrifting trip, my daughter went along with me on the hunt, and we had a ball. It was really a lot of fun!
I’m not saying it’s always walk in the park to go thrifting with my kids, especially the younger one. But, the good news is that they’re pretty used to it, and are *usually really good company. Plus, they make me laugh. My kids are pretty hilarious.
Last week, my 5-year-old daughter and I stopped by our local Habitat for Humanity ReStore before school.
I’ve written about shopping at a ReStore before and it’s such a treasure hunt every time.
Now, we haven’t been to our ReStore in a few months. And I guess the word is getting out about how amazing it is to shop there because the parking lot was packed! I’ve never seen it like that before. We had to park in their little extra lot across the street. This trip did not disappoint!
I went in with some ideas of what we needed for our house, specifically a floor lamp and an armchair. I didn’t find either of those. But I still found some great pieces!
And my little girl had a ball.
You can what our entire adventure and see our haul in this mother and daughter thrift with us video that I made.
If you haven’t been to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore before, I couldn’t recommend them more. Of course, every location will be different since they will only have what is donated to them.
But it’s absolutely worth a look! Check out their website to see the location closest to you.
And, if you’ve ever been, tell me your greatest find in the comments below!
