My morning routine most days of the week is to with 20 or 30 minutes of yoga.
In fact, I wrote a post a few months ago featuring 8 of my favorite online yoga videos to tackle in the morning. I find them a great way to wake up my muscles and joints or to help me ease gently into the day.
But sometimes yoga in the evening can be just as restorative.
They’re an amazing way to get your body and mind grounded and relaxed before turning in for the night.
Of course, there are tons of options out there for evening yoga videos, but here are 7 of my favorites!
Yoga for Bedtime – 20 Minute Practice | Yoga with Adriene
This video is definitely the nighttime yoga routine I practice the most.
I love the way Adriene explains technique and breathing and this video features loads of slow floor stretches.
It’s perfect for rest.
Nighttime Flow with Action Jacquelyn
If you’re looking for more of a traditional flow, this routine starts off with cat/cows and a couple of downward dogs.
But, the second half of this video is calming floor work, so you get the best of both worlds.
Bedtime Yoga for Stress and Anxiety with Sarah Beth
If you really need to get to a peaceful place, this is the evening yoga video for you.
Sarah Beth has a very soothing voice and the music is so calming. She’s even in a totally white room!
Yoga for Deep Sleep & Relaxation – Blue Indigo
Maybe you’re looking for more of a free-spirit to inspire you, check out the channel Boho Beautiful.
It features Juliana and Mark, who travel the world creating their videos with incredible surroundings.
For this night routine, Juliana at a yoga retreat in Cambodia. It looks pretty amazing!
Yoga for Sleep – Easy Bedtime Yoga | 5 Minute Miracle
This video is another offering from Juliana at Boho Beautiful.
Clocking in at just five minutes, this is a routine that you could easily work in every night.
I will say that the lighting is a little weird in this video. But there is not any really challenging technique that you would need to see, so I’m including it anyway.
Yoga for Bedtime – Yoga Dose
If you’ve got a lot more free time in your evenings, this is a much longer practice to try.
There are tons of hip work and stretches in this video, which is something I really like to focus on after a long day.
Plus, there aren’t a lot of male yogis making videos, so I had to include Tim Senesi. He also has his own channel called Yoga with Tim if you’re a fan!
Moon Practice | Yoga with Adriene
This last video is a fairly new routine from Yoga with Adriene and I am hooked on it!
She starts low on the mat then adds in some goddess and pyramid poses. The whole routine felt very feminine to me for some reason.
Beware though, somehow I got completely turned around on my mat for the first time I tried this routine, but it felt great!
Evening online yoga can be an easy way to incorporate some physical self-care into your nighttime routine.
It’s not something I do as much as I’d like to. But now that I’ve gathered some of my past favorites here, I’m going to try to make a habit to work more yoga into my pm.
